About

An agentic AI engineer, based in Walvis Bay

United Apps is owner-operated. I direct AI systems to build production software and stay personally accountable for what ships — custom software, AI systems, and mobile apps for growing Namibian businesses.

What I focus on

  • Software built around how your business actually works, not the other way around.
  • AI built into your software where it earns its place — reading documents, automating a step, surfacing what matters — never bolted on for show.
  • Clean code and good performance from the start, not patched in later.
  • Clear communication at every stage — no surprises, no jargon.

How I work

I work directly with every client — no account managers, no handoffs. When you contact United Apps, you're dealing with the person actually building your software.

What I build falls into three areas: custom software and apps, AI systems built into how a business runs, and mobile apps. United Apps also builds websites, online stores, and handles general IT support — solid work, usually alongside a software or AI project, or on its own.

Background

Accountable, not just assisted

What 'agentic AI engineer' means in practice, and what came before United Apps.

Agentic AI engineer

An agentic AI engineer directs AI systems to build production software and stays personally accountable for what ships — the AI writes, the engineer reviews, decides, and owns the result. That accountability is the whole definition. It's what separates this from generated code nobody stands behind.

Before United Apps

Before United Apps, I spent over fifteen years in software and IT — five of them running network operations for an ISP, then several building enterprise applications: payroll and incentive logic wired to factory floor data, and access-control systems tied to biometric hardware. All hand-written, years before AI coding tools existed. Not United Apps work — the foundation it's built on.

The mechanism

One delivery system, reused on every project

This is why the work can be enterprise-grade without an enterprise price tag.

Every United Apps project runs on the same underlying system, built up over time: authentication, access control, and audit logging engineered in from the start, not bolted onto generated code afterward. It's also what makes directing AI to build quickly safe to do — the guardrails are already there, so speed doesn't come at the cost of rigor. New projects don't pay to rebuild any of that from scratch; they inherit it. That system is called UaKernel — never sold, licensed, or handed to a client, the delivery engine behind the work, not a product. Formally, it's an AI Integrated Application Delivery Framework.

Principles

How I approach every project

A few things that shape how I scope, build, and communicate.

Quality over speed

I would rather take a little longer and hand over something that works properly.

Simple wins

The right solution is usually the most straightforward one — that includes knowing when AI genuinely helps and when it's just noise.

Built to last

Clean code and sensible structure from the start — so it is easy to maintain later.

Honest communication

If something is going to be a problem, I say so early rather than working around it.
